Killer Glitch

Creating a 30-second ad for mental health outreach was my first experience working with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audacity. The process was challenging as I navigated new tools and techniques, but it was also incredibly rewarding. By leveraging the resources I had and learning through experimentation, I was able to create a meaningful piece that reinforced the importance of mental health support while expanding my technical skills.

Resources

The biggest part of creating the 30-second mental health outreach ad was finding volunteers and working with a small team of friends to create all the audio. Their collaboration and support were crucial, making the project a rewarding team effort despite its challenges.

Challenging

Transferring animations between Adobe After Effects and Premiere taught me a hard lesson about file compression and quality loss, leading to results I didn’t like. It was a valuable experience in managing resolution across Adobe products.

Always learning

This was my first test with Adobe After Effects and Premiere, where I learned hard lessons about file compression and quality loss. Over time, I gradually honed my skills, improving my workflow and achieving better results which you will see in future projects.
